GCSE Results Summary – 2018 Provisional data

We are delighted to announce a superb set of GCSE results which, despite the changes to many of the GCSE subjects following on from the changes to English and mathematics last year, represent improvements in many areas and exceptional performance in these new courses.

84% of students secured a Grade 4 or higher in both English and mathematics (91% in English and 89% in mathematics).

64% of students secured a Grade 5 or higher in both English and mathematics (80% in English and 71% in mathematics).

44% of students secured a Grade 4 or higher in the EBACC and 33% Grade 5 or higher.

8% of grades on the new 1-9 scale were secured at the highest grade 9.

We would like to congratulate all the students on their hard work and tremendous success – we are very proud of you. Praise and thanks also goes to the staff who taught and supported the students over their time with us.

A-Level Results Summary - 2018

We would like to congratulate our sixth form students on their impressive results at A Level, BTEC and Technical courses. .

In the upper sixth, 26% of all grades were A* or A and 53% A* to B.

We would also like to thank the staff for all their hard work and expertise teaching and supporting the students over the course of their studies, but mostly we would like to wish all our students well for the future, wherever that will take them.
