AS/A-Level Results Summary - 2017
We would like to congratulate our sixth form students on their impressive results at A Level, BTEC and Technical courses and at AS. This year has seen the introduction of new and more challenging A Level specifications in the majority of the subjects we offer and our students have risen to the challenge tremendously well.
In the upper sixth, 22% of all grades were A* or A and 48% A* to B. 56% of Technical grades were Distinction or Distinction Star with 76% of grades at least a Merit.
In the lower sixth, 51% of grades were at least a B (our best result since 2013).
We would also like to thank the staff for all their hard work and expertise teaching and supporting the students over the course of their studies, but mostly we would like to wish all our students well for the future, wherever that will take them.
