Careers Fair - for Years 8-13 on Tuesday 6 February 2018

We are pleased to invite you to the School’s Annual Careers Fair to be held in the L and G Blocks on Tuesday 6 February 2018 between 7.00pm and 9.00pm.

The event is for students from Years 8 through to Year 13, offering Year 8 students guidance for their GCSE options, and Year 11 for their A level options, as well as giving guidance on Careers and Further and Higher Education choices for all students, whenever they leave. School leavers who delay thinking about their career choice are likely to miss opportunities.  Please reinforce our advice that your daughter/son should take advantage of this large gathering of experts.

The representatives can give valuable guidance on Higher Education, Further Education, Gap Years, apprenticeships, professional and craft careers.  Some representatives are keen to recruit school leavers.  Students must remember that they may in future change their career path and other options should be kept in mind.  Sixth Form students should bear this point in mind and also the fact that there are some new representatives this year.

The representatives will be available on an individual basis, and due to the large number of students invited we would like to stagger the time of arriving to 7.00pm for Years 8, 9 and 10, and 7.45pm for Years 11, 12 and 13.  The Fair will finish at 9.00pm.  Students may come with their parents or unaccompanied.  If unaccompanied we cannot accept responsibility for your son or daughter on the journey to and from the Careers Fair.

The school is most grateful to the parents, friends and representatives who make this event possible.
