Maiden Erlegh School is deeply saddened by the death of former student Noor Butt.  Our thoughts are with his family, friends and all those affected by this tragic incident.

We are working closely with relevant agencies and will have support available for affected students and staff when the school reopens following half term.

We would ask everyone to avoid speculation, both in person and on social media, out of respect for the family and the ongoing police investigation.
