Community

Maiden Erlegh School is very proud of its close involvement in the local community and its collaborations with groups further afield.

We provide high quality learning experiences for children and adults in the local area and go into local schools to deliver workshops and support continuing professional developments.

The Peacock Gallery and the community centre place us firmly at the centre of the community and, together with our lettings programme, ensures that our work extends beyond the school day.

We are also part of a very rich community in terms of its cultural and social diversity and in July 2011, we were delighted to receive the Gold Cultural Diversity Quality Standard from the Specialist Schools Academies Trust.

But we also know that we are part of a much wider community and work with partners all over the world to provide learning and exchange opportunities for students and education professionals.
