Budding Maiden Erlegh Entrepreneurs Shine at Children's Business Fair
On Saturday 5 July, 18 talented young entrepreneurs from Maiden Erlegh School took to Reading's bustling high street to showcase their innovative businesses at the Children’s Business Fair UK. The event provided a unique platform for aspiring young business minds to shine. Our students rose to the challenge with confidence and creativity, presenting a diverse range of handmade products—from spa-inspired toiletries and intricate therian masks to jewellery, home-baked treats, lip balms, bespoke greeting cards and even unique handmade games made from ethically sourced products. This real-world business experience gave them the opportunity to engage directly with the public, develop their sales techniques, and earn money from their own creations. The Maiden Erlegh cohort stood out not only for the quality and originality of their products but also for their professionalism. Daniel E was awarded Best Product by the judges. The students had been working diligently for months in preparation, and their hard work certainly paid off. Judges were full of praise, commenting on the impressive entrepreneurial spirit and creativity on display.
We are incredibly proud of our students for representing Maiden Erlegh School with such energy, dedication, and flair.
