Year 11 Class of 2018 Shines!

All at Maiden Erlegh School are delighted with how our students have performed in this year’s examinations. Students and staff have worked tirelessly to prepare for these new examinations, and their endeavours have paid off.

  • 85% achieved at least a Grade 4 and 65% achieved at least a Grade 5 in both English and Maths.
  • In English, 91% achieved at least a Grade 4 and 80% achieved at least a Grade 5.
  • In Maths, 89% achieved at least a Grade 4 and 71% achieved at least a Grade 5.
  • 37% of the grades on the new exams were Grade 7 or higher.
  • 22% of the grades on the new exams were Grade 8 or 9 (with 20% Grade 8, 9 or A*).
  • Overall our students gained 184 Grade 9 or A* (8%)
  • Indicative Attainment 8 average 57.66
