Duke of Edinburgh Award (DofE) at Maiden Erlegh School

We are proud to run the world’s leading youth achievement award, the Duke of Edinburgh Award, at Maiden Erlegh School to offer students the chance to develop new skills outside of the classroom, push personal boundaries, increase resilience and enhance student’s CV’s and university applications.  We offer all three levels: Bronze in year 9, Silver in year 10 and Gold in years 12/13.

We offer an extensive range of extra-curricular activities at Maiden Erlegh School which can help you to complete the volunteering, physical and skills sections. Activities you take part in outside of school could also count towards the award. It is important to choose activities that you enjoy and motivate you.

You can find more information on the DofE website.

We are delighted to receive the DofE Statistical Report for 2022/2023 along with a special certificate which represents the social value of all those individuals who have completed a Duke of Edinburgh’s award in the reporting year. This is a lovely way for the selfless 949 hours given by our DofE participants to be recognised.
